Sandvik Construction adds distributor for Bretec brand
Sweden-based Sandvik Construction, a manufacturer of mobile crushers, screens and other equipment for the construction industry, has announced Crusher Works is a new distributor for the Bretec range of breakers throughout Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, north Florida and west Tennessee. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Crusher Works is an existing Sandvik distributor for drilling, mobile crushing and screening products, and will now provide full aftermarket care, spare parts and customer service for the Bretec brand.
Crusher Works’ appointment as a distributor is designed to further enhances Sandvik’s commitment to locally focused customer support, while enabling customers to benefit from dealing with a global company, Sandvik says.
Formed in 2000, Crusher Works is an established name in the construction industry with offices, workshops and service engineers throughout the area for the company’s existing dealer for surface drilling products and mobile crushers and screens, according to Sandvik.
Scott Davison, sales manager for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Bretec breakers in North America, says, “We are very excited to have Crusher Works join the distribution network of Bretec breakers. Allied CP promotes new chief
The board of members for Allied Construction Products LLC (Allied CP), Cleveland, has announced the promotion of Phil Paranic to the position of president and CEO. Paranic recently served as executive vice president of Allied CP, a position he was appointed to in 2014.
In the top position, Paranic will oversee all operations for the construction equipment attachment manufacturer in the North American market.
His experience includes more than 15 years with Allied, administering corporate purchasing and wholesale pricing for all product lines, overseeing used equipment sales and managing sales operations for the eastern sales region. In addition, Paranic has more than 20 years in general management of construction and industrial equipment at the distributor level.
Paranic says he looks “to meet the changing market challenges by building on the ‘Allied tradition’ of great products and customer-oriented product support.”
Through more than 200 U.S. and Canadian distributors, Allied offers a complete line of excavator, loader/backhoe, skid-steer and mini-excavator mounted attachments for the mining, quarry and construction equipment industries.
General Kinematics appoints director of North American sales
General Kinematics (GK), a Crystal Lake, Illinois, manufacturer of custom engineered vibratory process equipment, has hired Jim Egan as director of North American sales.
With more than 20 years of manufacturing sales and marketing experience, Egan joins GK after a long career as sales manager for the industrial parts services division at Advanced Technology Services (ATS), Peoria, Illinois, GK says. He has a history of implementing effective sales processes and creating the organizational structure to meet corporate objectives, according to GK. In addition, Egan has experience selling services in both Mexico and Canada.
“I’m thrilled to be joining a team whose reputation for quality and dependability is unmatched,” says Egan. “The GK leadership team has some aggressive growth targets. To meet our objectives, the sales team is going to continue its high level of service to our existing customers, while diversifying our customer base.”
