Sennebogen appoints national sales manager

Sennebogen LLC, Stanley, North Carolina, has appointed Jason Jones as its Americas’ sales team manager. In this position, Jones will be responsible for developing and leading the Sennebogen sales network in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America. 

“[Jason] has a proven record of achievement in growing sales and share in industrial markets by developing the right processes and tools that enhance customer experience at every level,” says Constantino Lannes, president of Sennebogen LLC.

According to a news release from Sennebogen, Jones has been managing sales and marketing teams in the steel industry for more than 15 years. Through his previous positions, he is well-connected to a variety of business sectors, including scrap, recycling, steel and pulp industries.

“We’ve been very impressed by Jason’s strategic approach to market development and account management,” Lannes says. “He is very knowledgeable of the business needs of dealers and customer organizations [to ensure] commercial success.”

Jones says he sees his new role as a way to be a “voice of the customer” to guide the company’s relations with dealers and end users. “We are continuing to develop an increased focus on individual needs of specific industry sectors and businesses,” Jones says. 

Right after joining Sennebogen’s sales team, Jones attended the ConExpo-Con/Agg 2020 event, which took place March 10-14 in Las Vegas. Jones says he was able to meet many of Sennebogen’s dealers and customers at that event.

“ConExpo was a great opportunity for me to get firsthand knowledge of Sennebogen’s value to its customers,” he says.

FEMCO signs service agreement with Metso

Metso has signed a service partner agreement with Pittsburgh-based FEMCO Holdings LLC for that firm’s FEMCO Machine subsidiary to provide service support for its metal recycling equipment throughout the North American market.

Metso describes FEMCO as a national machine repair, field service and rebuild company that has provided those services to the scrap, demolition and recycling industry for more than 50 years. In addition to its Pittsburgh headquarters, FEMCO has offices and facilities in Atlanta; Indianapolis; Olivehurst, California; Rifle, Colorado; Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania; and Gladewater, Texas.

“As a Metso authorized service provider, FEMCO’s experienced team will bolster service offerings for Metso’s broad metal recycling equipment line of shredders, preshredders, shears, balers, briquetters and loggers,” states Metso in its news release announcing the agreement.

“We’ve had a project-based relationship with FEMCO and quickly recognized how well their expertise, professionalism and high standards fit with our values,” Mark Haire, Metso’s vice president of metal recycling, Americas, says. “With a mutual commitment to customer success, this formalized relationship elevates our emergency repair services and expands our life cycle service programs.”

The two firms say FEMCO’s national footprint of facilities and service equipment will “ensure the right equipment and resources to meet customer field service needs, including 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week emergency response.”

Metso says it maintains the largest installed base of metal recycling equipment in the scrap industry, with installation at both “large multinational scrap yards [and] local family-run scrap yards.” 

FEMCO says it “focuses on every step of maximizing our customers’ uptime, from turnkey project commissioning, 24/7 emergency response, preventive maintenance, inspection and rebuild services and customer OEM and aftermarket parts.”

Exodus announces new regional business manager

Leah Glucoft

Exodus Machines, Superior, Wisconsin, has announced that Leah Glucoft has been promoted to regional business manager for the western U.S. and Canada. Glucoft will be responsible for direct revenue generation for the ShearCore and BladeCore product lines.

BladeCore provides replacement blades for mobile and stationary shears, while ShearCore designs and manufactures mobile shears and concrete processors.

Glucoft has been a part of the BladeCore team for the past three years, serving as the territory manager for the western states and provinces.

“We are thrilled for Leah to step into the regional business manager role for both ShearCore and BladeCore,” says Rich Currie, vice president of sales for Exodus. “She has done an amazing job growing our replacement blade business in the western U.S. and Canada.
